What a Long Day

I baked a carrot cake in the shape of a star. I put a lemon glaze on top of it. I call it, well I have no title for it. The slice of flourless chocolate cake, however, I titled "Minted from the Fires of Hell." I gave it this title because I used a mint syrup as a garnish along with ground pistachios. I also made California rolls this evening. Making sushi is difficult. At least I get to eat my errors.

The two paintings are older ones from at least two years ago. I just thought that I would post them.

Bricks

I read in the New York Times yesterday that a grass roots campaign sent 10,000 bricks to Capitol Hill, which represents the desire for a wall constructed at the southern border. A wall will not solve our nation's trouble. I donated these bricks, although numbering five, to Habitat for Humanity.

Otherwise, I took a better photograph of my latest painting. The embroidery, against my impression, photographed well.
